Mobile Heating

All types of electronic devices will heat. The heating of electronic devices is common but overheating may be dangerous. Some devices use a cooling mechanism to cool down.

Smartphone overheating

Normal Heat or Overheat

If the temperature of your phone is 40°-45°C, then it's normal. This happens with all types of phones, even high-budget phones like OnePlus, iPhone, Samsung, and others. However, if your phone is always in this range, it may be a problem.

Who is Behind the Mobile Heating?

There are two main components responsible for mobile heating:

Processor

The processor is always working, whether we use the phone or not. It contains semiconductors with moving electrons, which collide and generate heat.

Battery

As phones become slimmer, batteries also become smaller but have higher capacities (mAh). A small battery with high capacity can generate more heat while charging.

Problem of Overheating

If your phone overheats, it can slow down the processor to prevent damage. This may cause lagging, hanging, or even force you to turn off the device.
